Yates Industries LLC holds approximately 8,000 acres in the horizontal Spraberry oil play in Dawson County, Texas.
Our acreage position offsets prolific, multi-million barrel legacy vertical fields. This play is at the northern end of the Midland Basin on the Horseshoe Atoll adjacent to the Northern Shelf. Offset operators have drilled Spraberry horizontal wells whose reservoir quality is petrophysically identical to our leasehold, with peak 30-day averages of >900 bopd. Yates' near-term plan is to explore and develop the Spraberry formation by drilling horizontal wells. Our leases cover all rights and have potential upside objectives in other established plays, including productive reservoirs in the San Andres, Wolfcamp, and Penn Reef.
We are actively seeking one or more partners to join us in this endeavor. Any party with a serious interest can contact us at info@yates505.com.
Pajaro Energy LLC, a fully owned subsidiary of Yates Industries, operates about 48,000 acres in the shallow vertical Leo oil play in southeastern Powder River Basin in Niobrara County, Wyoming.
Pajaro’s current operations include producing 4 oil wells and 1 water disposal well. Additional exploration and development drilling is planned in the near future.
The primary geological target is the Pennsylvanian age (Minnelusa) Leo, a conventional reservoir at about 4,000 feet. Leo sands are productive over about 1,000 square miles. These aeolian sands can be up to 40 feet thick with good porosity and permeability, and recoverable reserves of 170 MBO per well. Completed well cost is less than $1MM.
Our exploration strategy includes identifying prospect/leasing areas based on historical subsurface well control and existing 2-D seismic data, and then pinpointing drilling locations by shooting and interpreting 3-D seismic surveys.
We are offering a great opportunity to pursue low cost, low risk drilling projects. This opportunity has zero upfront acreage cost, low drilling and completion costs, and per well reserves that can exceed 350 MBO.
We are offering two prospects.
1. Tanager Prospect: The Tanager Prospect has already been defined by 3-D seismic and is ready to permit and proceed. An assignment to Pajaro’s ~10,313 acres in the Tanager can be earned by drilling and completing a 3-D seismically defined location.
2. Ram Prospect: The Ram Prospect, on which Pajaro has ~7,608 acres (~6,968 federal and 640 state), can be earned by shooting a 3-D over the Prospect and drilling a well through the 2nd Leo formation.
Yates Industries is a significant working interest owner and non-operator in TransPacific Oil Company’s State Line project in Alfalfa and Woods Counties, Oklahoma. This project is located on the northern shelf of the Anadarko Basin.
We are exploiting the Mississippi Lime at a depth of 5,000 feet with vertical wells. This is much less expensive with better economics than recent horizontal development in the area. It also allows us to explore for deeper objectives as a secondary target. We have 58 active wells in the project, 22 of which we have drilled in the past three years.
Rattler Resources LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Yates Industries LLC. Yates formed Rattler to diversify into other natural resource commodities.
This project is a classic fit to our "back to the future" strategy. We are going back to historical, proven mines that were deemed to contain economically unrecoverable gold and precious metals but with new technology and methodology, those precious metals can be economically recovered in today's precious metals environment.
Yates Industries LLC is committed to it's "back to the future" strategy. We invest in innovation and new technologies that can be applied to projects which may appear uneconomical but with the new and improved technology and methodology, those projects can yield economical rewards.
